Part of the AI Suite system management utility included with some performance ASUS motherboards. "Asus Fan Xpert (aka QFan3) intelligently allows you to adjust bot the CPU and chassis fan speeds according to different ambient temperatures caused by different climate conditions in different geographic regions and your PC's system loading". Can user's with a supported motherboard (such as the Maximus II Formula and P7P55D-E Premium) confirm whether this is required for correct operation?
